Metrodorus of Lampsacus, a Greek philosopher from 330-278 BC, hailed from the city of Lampsacus and was affiliated with the school of Epicureanism. The proximity between Metrodorus and his fellow philosopher Epicurus is evident in portraits of both men combined into a single image of Hermes. This portrait was captured by a volunteer using approximately 40 photographs. This object forms part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, aimed at creating a digital library of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
