Preserved is a nearly life-size head of a youth, carved in the round with intricate detail. Thick, curly hair frames his oval face in perfect symmetry. The eyes are meticulously depicted with heavy upper and lower lids that add depth to his expression. His eyelids are carved with a gentle curve, adding to his youthful appearance. Both ears are emphasized by well-defined ear channels created through precision drill work. This remarkable piece is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, aiming to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe. The project is an open-source community effort, inviting contributors to share their unique items for free access by emailing stw@myminifactory.com. Scanned using advanced photogrammetry techniques and processed with Agisoft PhotoScan software.
