This striking limestone head with inlaid eyes crafted from gray marble was a masterpiece sculpted by Zadkine during the 1920's. It has witnessed countless days in his studio on rue Rousselet, where he worked until 1928 when she relocated to rue d'Assas. The Musee Zadkine acquired this object through a legacy fund in 2009.
