The Object is a Head of a Ptolemaic King, proudly displayed at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Its Inventory Number is 53.75 and it dates back to possibly the 3rd century B.C.E. The statue head is carved from Basalt and is a remarkable example of ancient art in the Format of a Statue Head. The photogrammetry was expertly handled by Amanda Ladd, Arin Anderson, and Molly Isaacs. Mohamed Abdelaziz processed the images with precision using a Nikon D850 camera equipped with a 24 mm lens. The resulting 3D Model has an impressive 45k poly count, which underwent thorough clean up and UVs in Zbrush. Texture baking was completed in Xnormal, where Normal, AO, Cavity, Roughness, and Specular maps were crafted with great care. An Albedo map was delightedly created in Agisoft's delighter, while details were enhanced in Photoshop and Zbrush. Finally, the entire model was edited to perfection in 3dsmax.
