This lifetime bronze has been personally signed by the artist Bourdelle himself, and is carefully numbered three beneath his signature. It was skillfully cast and refined by A.A. Hébrard's cire perdue method, which resulted in a total of ten planned examples, yet only seven were successfully brought to life.
