A Northern Qi dynasty (550-577) Buddha head sculpture, possibly created circa 570, hails from China and is made of limestone with pigment traces. Measuring 9.5 inches in height and 6.25 inches in width, it's classified as a sculpture. Acquired by The Vincent Astor Foundation Gift in 2001, the accession number is 2001.422. Ana Marva Fernandez from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York captured and cleaned this artifact during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012.
