A simple one-piece hinged clip is designed to securely fasten the guitar neck in place when using a Head Hangers guitar wall mount. The clip swivels smoothly on the Head Hangers without requiring any permanent modifications. A built-in snap feature within the hinge enables the Head Hangers' "mushroom cap" to click firmly into position. Separate files are provided for either clockwise or counterclockwise closing hinges, catering to different installation preferences. To install the clip, remove the "mushroom cap" from the side where the hinge will be installed. Then snap the cap into the cup end, taking care to ensure a secure fit. You may hear a distinct click, but to confirm proper installation, press firmly on the mushroom cap while gently rocking it in all directions and rotating it around its center. Push back the Head Hangers' foam to its maximum extent and reinstall the mushroom cap as originally configured.
