Head from Tomb of King John at Worcester Cathedral (1232 AD)

While browsing Worcester Cathedral recently, I took a moment to quickly scan the Tomb of King John using my Sony 3D creator app on my mobile phone. This is what the head looks like after scanning it with just the basic details intact; you can find the full lower-detail effigy online at https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-101861. According to Worcester Cathedral's website, which I'd recommend checking out for more information (link below), the effigy was carved in 1232 AD and is notable for being a fairly accurate representation of the king. Apparently, the tomb on which it sits is a later addition. If you're not familiar with King John's story, he's probably best known for his part in creating the Magna Carta and his appearances in the Robin Hood tales. You can find out more about him at http://worcestercathedral.co.uk/King_John.php. The scan was done using my Sony 3D Creator app on an Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphone, which did a great job of capturing the shape of the head.
