Head from The Barberini Hera
myminifactory
The Barberini Hera or Juno is a Roman sculpture depicting either Hera or Juno, copied after a Greek model from the late 5th century BC. This head is a reworked plaster cast of a full figure sculpture (Inv.249) on display at the Museo Pio-Clementino in Vatican Museums. The original is attributed to Alcamenes or Ahorakritos, Phidias' skilled pupil. If you create new work using this model and want to share it with us, please email web@smk.dk or stw@myminifactory.com.
