HE3D K280 K200 Board Cooler with Dual 50mm Fans
thingiverse
I experienced a print stop at 80% due to overheating. Someone suggested that the board might have gotten too hot, which caused the issue. I created this design in Tinkercad to address the problem. To improve airflow, I added fans that pull air into the printer from outside between the 20mm rails. Additionally, I insulated the button of the heated bed, increasing its heating time and helping to keep heat away from the board. This mount is specifically designed for printers with a 2020 rail system. If your bed mounts directly to these rails, this design will not work. However, if you have additional supports for the bed, it should be compatible. My k280 printer came with a wooden piece that was packed with the glass bed. I used this wood as a bottom plate and placed the cooler on top of it. If you don't have a bottom cover, consider using the screw mount version. Otherwise, you can choose between the clip-on or screw mount designs. I printed the first few layers in silk blue and the rest in clear PLA at 0.2mm with 20% infill. I plan to add LEDs to make it light up in the future.
