Hi, I created this set of building blocks for 3D-printer enthusiasts who love to experiment with new ways to put things together. When I was a kid, I loved playing with the Danish "Tekno" engineering toy, similar to the English/French "Meccano" toy. I could build amazing cranes, tractors, and other cool mechanical stuff on my own without needing instruction manuals. Later, I used the BILOfix toy because it allowed me to build bigger things. I think I thought that "bigger is better" at that time. Many years later, I got my own 3D-printer, a BIBO FDM-printer, and started thinking about using its amazing possibilities to make my own building kit. I had new ideas about how to connect the building blocks in a strong, stable, and flexible way, and another criteria was to use standard plastic pipes and filament to make it easy to build big and yet affordable constructions. After sketching a lot, I modeled the building blocks in SolidWorks and printed them one by one. After many attempts and tests, I've fulfilled most of my wishes and am proud to present the He-Ideas building set. I've played with it a lot and still find new ways to combine the many blocks.
