HDX organizers are incredibly cost-effective (usually $10-$12 US for a pair of organizers) for medium-sized parts, but aren't nearly divided enough for the smaller parts that I've been purchasing for 3D printing lately. I designed these bin inserts to remedy this problem, as I wasn't satisfied with the few other options I found elsewhere.

For each size/type of slot, there are a lot of different configurations available. See the ASCII image reference for how the slots are numbered. For each slot: if you want to stack a pair of shallow bins, choose a top and bottom half in whatever divided (or undivided!) configuration you'd like. For a full-height bin, simply choose your divisions. Divisions are in XxY format: number of compartments along the X axis by number of compartments along the Y axis.

I have included the FreeCAD files used to generate all of these STLs, and did my best to make these parametric. If you need a different configuration of divisions, or even want to try stacking these 3 high in one slot, then you should only have to edit the parameters in the spreadsheet for the relevant slot using RealThunder's branch of FreeCAD at https://github.com/realthunder/FreeCAD_assembly3/releases

Once folders are supported I will be sure to organize these better!

Print instructions

Printed at .28 layer height for speed. Include enough walls to make sure your box walls won't be hollow.
