HDRI Loader is a V-Ray for Maya script that simplifies the process of setting up your scene for rendering with an hdri. YouTube Video: Learn How to Use HDRI Loader This powerful tool helps you set up your scene to render your object with ease, utilizing the benefits of an hdri. It creates a dome light and configures the render globals, making all necessary connections in the process. When enabling the sun light, you can also specify the shadow softness for added control over the final image. HDRI Loader also allows you to create render layers that split your scene into separate components, including a background, shadows, and an object layer, which can be used for later compositing. In the script field, you can input commands that will be executed after setting up the scene, automatically applying default settings. For instance: setAttr “vraySettings.sys_regsgen_xc” 32; This command sets the render region division to 32 pixels, streamlining the rendering process and achieving high-quality results.
