HDR50 slug maker mold positive.
thingiverse
This is a positive part for making a silicone slug maker mold. ie once the silicone has cured, you pull out the 3d print and pour hot melt glue inside to make slugs. No, you cant use bathtub calk in a tube, it needs to be a 2 part pouring silicone for molding. Im using Mold Max 20 with a standard catalyst and it takes about 8hrs to cure. I fill it with glue, pop in a 3*9.5mm self tapper screw with a tweezer and put a marble on top. The marble creates a dimple in the back and provides a grip for pulling the cooled slug out. The self tapper slug weighs 1.6g and the copper head weighs 3.1g, compared with the original balls that weigh 2.5g. This was a 3rd party request and I dont have the HDR50, so I cant tell you which slug is nastier as I havent shot any of them.
