This spacer provides a seamless connection between the 2 Inch HDPE tube and the orange reebar safety caps, creating elegant light arches. Initially, I found the existing setup cumbersome, as cutting the tubing to fit on the tapered caps was necessary. However, this innovative spacer presses firmly onto the cap, allowing the tube to slide over it perfectly without any adjustments. As a result, no cuts were required for the clamp to secure everything in place effectively. Although this design has not been thoroughly tested under real-world conditions yet, I'm confident that minor issues can be easily resolved by applying some heat or making a small slit in the HDPE if needed. To print this spacer successfully, simply ensure that the thicker end faces downwards and use a PETG filament of your preferred color, as I happened to have orange on hand.
