HDMS Lindormen was an ironclad coastal defense ship constructed in 1866 for the Danish Royal Navy, finishing its build in 1869. Its name draws inspiration from the Norse serpent legend that has remained relevant to this day. Despite reportedly struggling with trials, the vessel itself saw limited service history as a direct result, and it would eventually be scrapped in 1907.
