HDMI Cable Fixer

Tired of HDMI Cables Coming Loose? Don't let faulty connections ruin your expensive home entertainment system. Ever pulled out an HDMI cord and watched as the video signal disappeared, leaving you with a pricey AV-Receiver that's useless? HDMI cables have one major flaw: they can't be securely fastened to your components. While specialized cables with screws are available, they're hard to find, expensive, and often don't fit into your existing setup. I searched for solutions to this problem and discovered a few innovative products, but they were either out of stock or not publicly available. So, I created my own solution using everyday materials: a simple fix that's inspired by one of the products I found. Just use the screws above the HDMI port on your receiver or other device and a zip tie to secure your cables in place. The pictures show how they're attached and assembled. When working with different types of HDMI plugs, you may need to pull the zip tie quite tight to get it to stay put. If the small cable fixer still slips, try using the longer design instead. In general, the longer fixer appears to be a more stable option. I updated the original design to make it even better: * The front wall where the screw is mounted is now thinner, allowing for shorter screws that fit most AV components. * A long fixer has been added, enabling you to attach directly to the cable in addition to the plug.
