HDD rack with hexagons
thingiverse
This is a compact project I completed to gain more insight into Freecad.\r\nIt can accommodate both full-size and "laptop size" hard drives.\r\nThe curved corners are designed to prevent warping, but it's still recommended to add a brim due to the large flat surface area.\r\nThe thumbnail image got damaged as I used a lighter to remove excess threads.\r\n\r\nIn addition, I've included the Freecad files along with another STL file for testing if the hard drives would fit. You can use it as a starting point if you want to create your own rack.\r\n\r\n-----------------------------------------\r\nPrinted with: \r\nPrinter: Anet A8\r\nLayer height: 0.2mm\r\nNozzle diameter: 0.4mm\r\nFilament: PLA Pxmalion White 1.75\r\nNo supports\r\nBrim: 8mm\r\nInfill density: 10%\r\n
