The revamped kparlin laptop HDD adapter design includes less plastic usage and a single print instead of five. **In V3, hole sizes were increased while wall thickness was also enhanced. The three cross-members have been replaced with one for faster printing.** An updated version from 10/8/11 features an adapter that utilizes only the bottom screws of the 2.5 inch drive and no cross-members; it includes a middle mounting screw often found in 3.5 inch drives and cases. The large print may experience warping, so proceed with caution. Pre-tap the adapter-to-case screw holes by gradually screwing in screws until tightness is reached to avoid layer separation. Perform this step before attaching the HDD and inserting it into your computer.
