Adapter for 2.5" HDD to fit 3.5" bay. Designed specifically for 7mm-height hdd compatibility. This adapter positions the SATA connector of a 2.5" hdd in the exact spot where a 3.5" hdd would normally reside, allowing you to install a 2.5" hdd in places that only accommodate 3.5" hdds and where the SATA connector is permanently attached for a 3.5" hdd. To assemble the adapter, you will need two M3 washers, two M3 screws, and a detachable thread locker (available in liquid or grease form). Sizing specifications are based on established industry standards, including SFF-8201 and SFF-8301, which outline the dimensions for various types of hdds.
