HD Wing / Mako FPV Nose
thingiverse
This nose is designed for the Sonic Models HD Wing, which is also sold by RMRC as the Mako. Print the nose in TPU for outstanding durability and install it in place of the plastic dome that comes with the model. Use Du-Bro servo screws to attach the nose to the wooden ring and also to secure the camera lens mount bracket into the nose (use washers on the camera mount as shown in a picture to span the adjustment slots). Find the Du-Bro servo mounting screws at https://www.dubro.com/products/socket-head-servo-mounting-screws. The Camera Lens Mount bracket must be printed with a strong material. I used PETG. Remove the lens from the FPV camera and insert it through the mount, then reinstall the lens - re-focus. Use the lens locking ring to securely fasten the mount to the camera.
