HD roller print test(successful)/Extruder topper

Update TPUs don't roll easily as PETGs, so I'm going to resize the ID up 1.5mm to 2mm. The sleeve bearing spacers are 7mm OD and have been printed at 5mm ID, but compression of the Naruto or 3 swirl roller is perfect enough to use an eccentric bolt to adjust wobble on whatever. This one is close to a finish. Update 7-13-20 I'm doing a secondary x axis carriage plate for fans/wiring/Bowden tube/etc. My plan is to eliminate a lot of weight and stress from the hot end. I'll be putting these rollers to long-term testing, allowing everything going into the hot end to roll across the top rail along with the hot end. I might add a motor to mirror the motions of the x axis so it's not being dragged as much, providing a very low-friction and direct path for wiring and filament to run. Stay tuned for further tests and updates. As of this moment, they work fine for extruder toppers, but just slightly fit onto a rail (could be because of my particular printed parts or material). This is with PETG so there isn't much flex available. My original plan was to print these in TPU, so I did plan for some compression of the material. So just be wary when printing with anything less flexible than TPU. This is just a flight of fancy test to see if I can print either backup rollers or ones that dampen the noise a bit in the frame. I tell you, having a pair of mechanics stethoscopes really goes a long way. They fit fine and roll just fine, but may have to give them a little angle to seat into the slot better. If anything, these make not bad compact extruder toppers. The Naruto one is fun to watch. Give me a couple weeks to get another printer for the farm for beta prints so I can test the longevity of the concept.
