HD Omega Adapter Case

This is an MSX Omega HDRV Coupler case for my PCB. This project allows you to connect your MSX Omega to an HDTV using the existing RGB port (after a simple modification, detailed below). You can use HDRV Genesis 2 cables with the Turbo Duo adapter, which will connect to the HD Omega coupler and then use a M-M 8 pin DIN cable to connect to the MSX Omega. Omega Modification Required: 1) Remove Resistors R14 and R33. 2) Bridge R33 with a wire. That's it. Note, you Can Not use the RGB port with a SCART after doing this MOD, so be aware of this. End user is responsible to verify that this works with your system. I take no responsibility in any mishaps as I just want to share what I was able to create. What you Need: 1) HDRV Genesis 2 cable (Can be bought from various places, check with HD Retrovision for online retailers if you need one). I just used one I had. 2) HDRV Turbo Duo cable: https://castlemaniagames.com/products/hd-retrovision-turbo-duo 3) PCB from Oshpark: https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/CwKZjApU 4) 2 - 8 pin DIN: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/490-SDF-80J (note, there are other 8 pin DINs with a different layout, so be aware of this. I had both on hand but designed the PCB for the ones linked to Mouser) 5) 4 - M3-10 screws for the case. 6) 1 - 8pin DIN M-M cable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0925F56SG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (these worked for me, but you may be able to find one cheaper. Just need a 1:1 pinout cable. Assembly: 1) Solder the 2 DINs to the PCB. 2) The PCB labels the respective DIN, so make sure when you put the PCB into the top half of the case, it matches the labeling on the case. You don't want to put it in backwards. 3) Snap in the bottom print and screw it in using the M3 screws. 4) Plug in the respective cables, turn on your system, and enjoy.
