We crafted this test to demonstrate to users of desktop 3D printers that exceptional results don't always depend on high-resolution files. By taking a high-definition 3D scan of a hand and drastically reducing its original mesh density nearly 50 times, we show that quality isn't sacrificed with lower file counts.
