HD Dyna Rear Axle Alignment Tool

Plugs for fitting inside the rear axle on a Harley Davidson Dyna, should work on most later Dyna models that have the hollow axle. I specifically worked with a 2014 Low Rider to create this part. These plugs replace the purchased tools described in the service manual. You will still need a piece of 1/8th inch welding rod (steel rod also works fine) as described in the manual. You need to bend that rod at a 90 degree angle to insert into the measurement hole on the swingarm. Then place the rod into the channel on these parts and measure the centerline using the 3d printed mark across the part. Check both sides and adjust them according to the tolerances mentioned in your service manual. The fit is a tiny bit loose, but it works just fine. You could tighten the plug to bore tolerance up a bit. I printed in 0.20mm on a prusa, but I think 0.35mm would also work and does create a tighter bore (my bore test plugs were printed in 0.35mm). I included the STL files, STEP Files, and Alibre Atom part files so you can modify anything you want. *NOTICE* I do not guarantee that this part is perfect. I only designed it for my own needs. You should evaluate the part AS WELL AS your printed version to make sure it accurately represents the measurement surface you are trying to create. I take no liability for any inaccuracies in this part.
