HCJ i90 Camera Chin Mount
thingiverse
After looking everywhere, I couldn't find a camera mount for my i90 helmet, so here's my version of one. My setup is a DJI Osmo with a Tilta case, with a combined weight of almost 7 ounces. So far it has held up perfectly for over six hours of riding. The mount is meant to be printed in two different parts, designed to join after printing without adhesives or fasteners. This allows the removal of the camera from the helmet without messing with the set camera angle or the thumb screw. The parts are also designed to be printed without any supports, as long as you orient the prints in the manner shown. I used 3M double-sided tape to attach it to the front vent door, as this is the only place on the front of the helmet with enough surface area to work without blocking the chin release. The tape also provides additional vibration reduction. The vent will not stay closed (up position) when the mount has a camera attached, but if you're like me, you always leave the front vent open anyway. The mount is designed to hold a standard dome nut for the thumb screw, just like any other Go-Pro mount has built-in. Please feel free to comment on any adjustments needed or ideas for improvement.
