HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Case (Fixed)
thingiverse
I needed to print this box for my brother's college project and fixed the designs flaws on the original part. - Lid inner edge is 0.25mm around smaller for a snug fit. Original didn't had a margin of error. - Expanded the crystal hole by 1mm height - Aligned the transceivers holes to the middle - Add a chamfer to give space for the soldered pins nubs - Increased the back hole size for better accommodation of the pin header The case box is a very tight fit, but you can easily push the sensor into the case by heating the corners. With a precision flameless gas burner or hot air heat gun, heat up the corners to become more malleable. Pry the sensor into the hole and place it aligned to the box.
