HoneyComb fanduct for Turbo Fan (40x40x20) like add-on for E3DV6 hotend (ideally combined with BMG BondTech direct drive extruder).

The Fanduct is mounted directly on the original V6 hotend´s Fan.

It is fits on the V6 heatblock with cartridge thermistor (longer block), and also for heatblock with a glass-bead thermistor (older shorter block), and with (or without) silicone cover for both.

This settup is efficient enough, normally when printing, the fan speed is sufficient at 55%... the bridges, overhang and short layers at 75%-80%.

For attachment just use four wood screws instead of the original ones and 2x M3 screw for Turbo fan.

Prints well, no big angles, no supports.

Print settings:

Material: PLA (Smartfil - Glitter Black, in my case)

Layer height: 0.2 or 0.25 (works both)

Wall count width: 3 perimeters (nozzle 0.4), 2 perimeters (nozzle 0.6)

Infill: 25%

Support: NO

Speed: Travel: 65mm/s... Print: 25-30mm/s (Wall, Infill etc...)

Assembly: Is needed:

4x wood screw (3.0x20-25mmm), 5mm longer than the original - for attachment all Fanduct on E3DV6 hotend.

2x M3 screw (20mm long) with nuts - for attachment TURBO Fan (Note: Attachment Turbo Fan to the third bottom eyelet is optional, not necessary, a piece of 1.5mm² isolated solid wire can be used).

(First mount the Turbo Fan on the Fanduct before placing it on the extruder´s set E3DV6 with BMG.)

PLA temperature resistance: I had been testing Fanduct from PLA for two months, no problems (hotend 200-210°C Bed 40°C). I haven't tried higher temperatures yet (I have only printed PLA stuff), in that case more durable material like PETG might be needed.

Modeled in the program: SketchUp

Printer brand: DIY - hobbymarket

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post-Printing:
