To overcome difficulties in leveling the platform after multiple builds and applying pressure while removing parts, Scott fixed his print bed to the TOM but faced challenges with Kapton tape application. He decided to create a heated bed plate (HBP) that could be easily installed and removed without affecting Z height. To achieve this, he used a previously shared leveler design from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9094), adding four flat head 3mm screws and attaching it to the wooden platform with super magnets JB-welded into the wood. Scott posted this modified design, along with a STEP file for customization. He also provided detailed instructions on selecting the right magnets, mounting them on the platform, assembling the leveler parts, sanding the wood to ensure easy placement without looseness, and optionally installing a new power connector (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9090) designed to handle repeated removals.
