Hayward Chlorinator Handle
thingiverse
This adjustable wrench fits multiple Hayward CL200, CL220 chlorinators featuring six knobs on top, ensuring a secure seal against leaking issues that may arise after years of use. The original device required significant force with oversized channel locks to achieve this tightness, even replacing the gasket offered no improvement. To avoid repeated strain and inconvenience, I created this wrench to simplify maintenance tasks. Its design allows for effortless removal and reapplication, reducing reliance on cumbersome tools. The fit is intentionally loose to facilitate easy attachment and detachment of the wrench. The wrench was 3D printed with PLA+ material using a 40% infill density. Multiple uses have demonstrated its structural integrity and resistance to deformation. As an alternative, these adjustable wrenches can be purchased from Amazon for approximately $25, but I opted for a more cost-effective DIY approach, producing the wrench at a significantly lower cost of around ~$0.69.
