After crash testing I upgraded the connection size. This feature is now fully customizable via the customizer, where I've also added several stl files for different variants. The adapter from EMAX on Thingiverse failed under stress due to its fragile design and was based on a pre-production prototype without a capacitor on the back of the drone, causing damage to my own device's capacitor. This revised model is stronger and more durable, with the adapter designed to slide smoothly over standoffs for easy removal of the top plate. To accommodate different needs, I added a rotated version where the adapter is parallel to the build plate. I printed it this way using supports that can be easily snapped off. While crash testing has not been extensively conducted yet, I will update the design as soon as more data becomes available. The "Connection thickness" and "Connection height" variables in the customizer can be adjusted to make the connection even stronger.
