Hawk 5 camera mount fixed angle
thingiverse
So I'm flying an FPV race, and I use the Emax Hawk 5 frame, which I absolutely love. Unfortunately, I've crashed three FPV cams already. So, I came up with this mount that has a ton of protection - the lens is completely sunk into the mount, so I can crash through all the gates without worrying about my camera getting damaged. I'm using the Foxeer Predator Mikro camera; I'm pretty sure this mount will work with most Mikro cams. The angle is fixed (three versions: 45, 50, and 55 degrees). The camera's angle is set, and when the lens is pushed down towards the print, it'll always be at the same angle. However, the 50-degree setting can be tilted up to around 55 degrees because there's some leverage above the lens. I'm using this mount with the picture flipped; that way, there's more room between the camera and the stack. I printed this in TPU. If you're running your camera flipped like me, after printing, you'll have to cut out the bottom layer with a cutting plier to make room for the connector. The bottom layer is only there so it has something to print on; see the pictures. I hope you like it!
