Hawaiian Pencil Sling
cults3d
This is an updated version of the Hawaiian pencil sling, designed to shoot pencils. It's also inspired by an older model from my childhood when I used to cut resistance bands and attach them to PVC pipes. I wanted to bring that same fun into 3D printing, but with a more modern twist. To use it, simply latch rubber bands onto the slits and cock the launcher by using rubber bands to pull the pencil out from the outside, then slide the pencil in to shoot. Release the pencil when you're ready. Currently, I'm using two loops of size 117B rubber bands, fitting them into two slots with enough space between them for a comfortable grip.
