So i like modifying Mechanical keyboards. I like buying cheap prebuilt keebs and having fun tearing them apart and fixing them up. One thing I absolutely hate about cheaper prebuilts is the attached, hardwired cable. As a solution to that problem, I've purchased a dozen or so micro-USB breakout boards to wire in. I figured I'd like a not-garbage looking way to mount them. So, l designed this mount specifically for the Havit 89-key board, but it should work just fine with any board that has a 30° tilt to the back plane. It did require a bit of cutting and gluing, but with a splash of matte black paint, you can barely tell, especially if it's flat on a desk. I tried to FDM print it several times, but because of the small parts and tight tolerances, it wouldn't print right. I ended up resin printing it. Honestly, resolution doesn't matter that much. just print it how you're comfortable printing it. I've included the step file from Fusion360, so that you can edit the screw holes to fit whatever hardware you have on hand. I had some machine screws that measured 1.75mm, so i made the holes fit that. You may have some M2 or M2.5 on hand. Note that M3 button head screws are too big for the breakout board, as the heads would collide with the USB port and wouldn't seat properly.
