I've created holders for [Pet Bells](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0761NZDS5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Dbu0DbJP9XM8F) already. Double-sided adhesive tape on the back and at any point on the door position it. Our dog Cosmo accepts the bells without problems. Advantages of the holders are that the bells no longer fall off (door handle) and now the door opens quietly when intended.
