The original Spool Holder by Fishbacon performs exceptionally well, but it has one significant flaw: the hole where the 4mm rod passes exerts excessive grip on the rod, causing it to shift away from its designated spot over time, potentially resulting in a fallen spool if left unchecked. To rectify this issue, I have redesigned the model with an improved feature - a hole specifically designed for a 608ZZ bearing. By inserting a 608ZZ bearing into this new hole, users can secure it firmly by pressing down on the piece against a flat surface, ensuring a snug fit. When assembling your spool holder, simply rotate it in your slicer until its large flat bottom is facing downwards towards the printing surface.
