Hatchbox spindle holder
thingiverse
The custom holder snugly fits into the Hatchbox spindle, spinning effortlessly around a sturdy 8mm rod. Designed with precision in mind, it is crafted to perfectly fit the specifications of my Rigidbot printer, despite slight discrepancies in dimensions. For instance, the diameter of the central hole measures precisely 8.26mm in width, while the outer circumference that inserts into the spindle stands at a size of 32.6mm. Before I move on, I've put its functionality to the test by printing two units, and both times they fitted snugly into the spindle without any room for slipping out. This has proven especially useful since previous prints often dropped from the spindle due to a loose fit. For creating this unique holder, I employed a straightforward approach. Simply select the following settings in your slicer software: • A 2mm thickness • Disable supports • Use the brim function for better adhesion
