Hatchbox PLA adapter for Ender 3 stock spool holder
thingiverse
Created this adapter to stabilize my Hatchbox spools and prevent them from wobbling excessively on the stock spool holder that came with my Ender 3. Print two of these adapters, then place the first one over the stock spool holder with its flange facing the metal bracket. It will be a snug fit. Next, position the filament spool on the spool holder so it rests on this adapter. Place the second adapter onto the spool with its flange side facing outward. Finally, screw the end cap back into place. When properly sized, the first adapter should fit securely in place, while the second one should slide on easily, and the Hatchbox spool should spin smoothly without any resistance. If you experience excessive friction, try scaling the model or modifying it using Tinkercad (link below). This custom design was created with Tinkercad.
