This is a versatile lid that enables you to transform the opening of your hatchbox filament into a desiccant container. This setup comes in handy if you store your filament in an air-tight, humidity-free box and choose not to hold it by its opening. When keeping desiccants this way, there's less likelihood they'll get stuck in the bearings that support your spool, causing a print failure. Simply slap a lid on one side, fill the hole with as many desiccants as possible, and secure it with another lid on the opposite side. The strong friction generated by the lid is sufficient to keep everything in place. Now you can safely place your spool into the container and start printing right away!
