Hat Hook for Truck
thingiverse
I designed a custom hat hook that fits snugly over the back of my 2004 Ford Pickup's bench seat using Tinkercad's powerful design tools. The goal was to prevent hats and visors from getting crushed or bent, so I tailored this solution to meet that specific need. To ensure maximum strength, I opted for 100% fill with ABS material, a popular choice among makers due to its durability. A layer height of 0.2 mm provided the perfect balance between print speed and detail quality. The heated bed temperature was set at 105 degrees Celsius, while the head temperature remained at 245 degrees Celsius. When it comes to printing this design, I utilized my trusty Monoprice Maker Select v2. I specified a resolution of 0.2 mm, which allowed for precise details and a smooth finish. Infill density was set to 100%, guaranteeing a solid and robust structure that can withstand everyday wear and tear. Rafts and supports were left at their default settings, as they weren't crucial to the design's overall integrity. With these carefully chosen print settings, I was able to create a functional and durable hat hook that perfectly complements my vehicle's interior. Its sleek design ensures a seamless integration with the bench seat, while its robust construction guarantees years of reliable service.
