Hart's Mechanism Analysis

Hart's Mechanism Analysis

grabcad

In my Dynamic Machinery course project, I worked with Hart's Mechanism CAD files for an exact straight-line design. Using NX Siemens, I imported and redefined the constraints before conducting a kinematic analysis. The results were consistent in both NX Siemens and WM2D modeling. Response: A simple pendulum consists of a mass attached to a string or rod that swings back and forth due to gravity. When released from a certain angle, the pendulum oscillates and its motion is described by the equation T = 2π√(L/g), where T represents the period (time taken for one full swing) and L is the length of the pendulum's string or rod, while g is the acceleration due to gravity. The simple pendulum is an important tool in understanding basic physics concepts like conservation of energy and oscillations.
