Harry Potter floating candles
thingiverse
No holiday feast at Hogwarts would be truly magical without floating candles. Don't settle for anything less than pure wizardry. The holders are simple to print and allow you to levitate as many led candles as needed to illuminate your festive feasting hall. The first version is the most robust but requires threading the candles onto a fishing line - no need to reveal the secret just yet! Version 2 and 3 can be hooked anywhere along the line, making installation much easier, although they're not quite as powerful. Version 2 performs best with high-strength filaments like PETG, while version 3 is sturdy enough for use with PLA. The candles can be purchased from Knockturn Alley or Amazon - I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P68DUGW but similar-sized options will also work well. They operate using an IR remote, turning on and off with a simple gesture. We hang four dozen above the dining room table during winter holidays. You can press the button and make a grand sweeping motion to turn them all on or off - it's almost like magic!
