This is a decorative piece I made for a Harry Potter robe. The robe came with a terrible clasp so I designed this to replace it. I sewed on a parachute buckle and attached this over top so everything looked nice. Everything is documented in the video. https://youtu.be/WxWjUwiah5A To be honest, this may be difficult to recreate. The clasp is designed to capture a 1.8" Polished Crazy Lace Agate Pocket Stone I got from Fossilera.com. I made this to fit the exact stone I received and I've only purchased from them once so I'm not sure how consistent their pocket stone sizes are. If you get a stone of a different size it might not fit quite right.
