Week 1 Challenge and Constraints: This challenge by Ultimaker called for designing and modeling a musical instrument that could produce a specific note or music while adhering strictly to two constraints. The first constraint, "permanent," dictated that the instrument must yield only a fixed set of notes from which users can choose. Meanwhile, the second constraint, "designing for them," required that the instrument be user-friendly enough to allow anyone to play it without prior technical knowledge of music or instrumentation. As long as users possess the imagination to envision their desired song or tune, they can bring it to life by blowing air through the tops of specially designed pipes.
