Harmonic Drive
thingiverse
Still in progress. This is a harmonic drive for a NEMA 17 stepper motor. You will need several parts to complete this project. Four M6 x 10 or 12mm long button head cap screws are required (for the wave generator). Four 606-2RS bearings are also necessary (for the wave generator). Twenty-four M3 x 16mm flat head cap screws are needed, with at least twelve required. Four M3 x 5mm flat head cap screws will be used for the motor. The NEMA 17 stepper motor is a key component of this project. All parts were printed using MatterHackers Pro ABS and the flex spline was printed using Taulman Bridge material. A wall thickness of 1.2mm, combined with 1.2mm top and bottom layers, and 15% infill, along with a scaling factor of 1.009, were used for the print settings.
