Here's a closer look at the iconic Harley-Davidson Sportster gas tank with its distinctive crown-shaped cap. One key note: don't bother with the central tunnel until you've carefully trimmed it down to fit your custom frame perfectly. The filler bung neck is nowhere in sight, nor is the fuel petcock, which are usually integral components of the design.
