Hello everyone, I recently got myself a Hario Mini and wasn't too happy about the grind quality especially with coarser settings. This design is supposed to address this issue by stabilising the center rod at a lower position. I found it working well – so I'm sharing it here for anyone who's interested. The top screw mount is a bit tighter than the bottom to avoid the mod from loosening every time the coffee holder is being removed. It's easy to pop on and off, so depending on your use, you could also only use it for coarser grinds. I'd recommend to spin the handle on the empty grinder for a few minutes and then cleaning it thoroughly before the first use to avoid having small plastic particles in your coffee.
