HardyGraph - Dynamical generated and fully printed 3D-Printer
thingiverse
Hello everybody, This is a fully generated 3D Printer made with OpenScad. Everything you need is in that one .scad file, and it's up to you how you want to build it because of its parametric design. I've managed to achieve a Workspace Area of 360x600x270mm (X/Y/Z). However, building this printer isn't as straightforward as it seems. You can watch a YouTube video that showcases the printer in action at https://youtu.be/ZJUT9yClOmQ. For now, there's no Extruder attached because I'm using it for commercial purposes to produce plastic signs. Until July 15th, 2017, this setup produced around 3200 plastic signs without any defective parts (excluding milling tools, of course). You can see some accuracy examples at http://virtograv.de/Material/Referenzen/Schriftarten/. If you're interested, I'd be happy to design a baseplate for mounting an extruder on the X-Axis-Carrier. All necessary information is written down by me at https://github.com/VirToReal/HardyGraph. You can find more details about this project in the RepRapWiki at http://reprap.org/wiki/HardyGraph. If there's any interest in my Project, I'll work with more enthusiasm on the GitHub Wiki to provide a better description.
