Summer 2020 with HardwareNXT, a six-week virtual program to introduce hardware product design through lectures, workshops by professional engineers, and a final project of a manufacturable device to solve a real-world problem Designed an omni-directional, Bluetooth speaker in Solidworks after ideation & research of existing products for students, identifying an unmet need for social-distancing entertainment at reopened college campuses. Learned and implemented product design methodologies such as injection molding, DFM, DFA, and tolerance analysis for different assembly methods (snap fits, press fits, screw bosses) into my product
