Hardcase Wallet - I'd Print That version
thingiverse
This revised version of the Hardcase Wallet (thing 116831) offers several key improvements over the original design. Notably, it is approximately 3mm thicker, which allows for the inclusion of a couple more cards within its confines. Additionally, the hole diameters have been increased to 18mm, providing individuals with larger fingers an easier means of extracting cards if needed. Further enhancements include the incorporation of additional holes, thereby reducing the amount of filament required during printing while also offering more options for card ejection. This redesign was showcased on the I'd Print That Podcast (http://idprintthat.com). Print Settings: Printer: da Vinici 1.0 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: .3mm Infill: Full / 100% Notes: A brim was used. Post-Printing: The brim was removed with a hobby knife. How I Designed This Version: The original STL file was imported into SketchUp, where it underwent modifications to achieve the desired design.
